“Hal Miller-Jacobs is the consummate user experience professional. He has the ability to step into situations easily and bring the user perspective forward for discussion. He has the special skill of being able to make research participants extremely comfortable, and takes the time to share the value of what research studies do to bring companies and customers together. Hal's biggest skill is that of mentoring: he selflessly shares his knowledge in the most encouraging of ways, reaching deep into his rich experience to bring out the best in his students. He's an absolute pleasure to work with, and a real team player.”

“When team-teaching at Human Factors International, it was always exciting and enlightening to share the course with Hal Miller-Jacobs. I felt the audience lean into Hal's empathic demeanor and gain direct knowledge of his topic effortlessly. Hal always brings a sense of humor and delight to his great depth of knowledge. Thus, he has the makings of an evangelist for usability. When I want to learn how to improve my teaching technique, I watch Hal. When I want to learn to enhance classroom rapport, I watch Hal. When I want to bring a lighter tone to a heavy topic, I watch Hal. Hal is the guy to watch when you look for experience, expertise, and top execution.”

“He always seemed to know just those few words of advice that would get me back on track when I was lost, either with clients or with design issues. And best of all, he is a great human being. Be sure to work with him if you ever get the chance. I can only give him my highest recommendation."
